Gladiator Sports Network and Ohio Valley Wrestling is proud to announce Dr. Damon Patterson as the official Organization Neurologist.
Dr. Damon Patterson is a nationally-recognized Interventional Neurologist, specializing in diseases of the nervous system, including cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, and acute and chronic pain. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee, Memphis Health Science Center. He completed his Neurology residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) followed by two fellowships, Vascular Neurology at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and Neuro-Interventional Surgery at UAB.
He served as Director of Endovascular Neurology at UAB before transferring to Lafayette, LA to become the Medical Director of Stroke and Neurointerventional Services at Lafayette General Medical Center, developing a program that has become a regional and national leader in Neurologic care.
He holds a strong interest in the acute management of cerebrovascular diseases, such as stroke and cerebral aneurysms, as well as acute and chronic interventions for neurologic pain conditions. Additionally, he is passionately involved in the prevention and treatment neurologic trauma, including medical and nutritional-based strategies for managing traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Patterson is honored to be a part of The Gladiator Sports Network and its ground-breaking approaches to optimizing neurologic health in the sport of professional wrestling.
